Margin requirements for retail clients are governed by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), who sets the minimum margin rates for different asset classes. Margin requirements vary given the base currency of your account.
Indices
Our spreads for the US SPX 500 index start from 0.4 points, while we offer spreads for the US NAS 100 index from 0.6 points and the Germany 30 index starting from 1 point. You can trade the Wall Street 30 index from 1.5 points.
Forex
We offer prices on over 70 major and minor forex pairs, including EUR/USD and GBP/USD. Our range of trading platforms include the award-winning* OANDA Trade and MT4 platforms.
Commodities

What are OANDA's hours of operation?
Our hours of operation coincide with the global financial markets. In Canada, trading is available from approximately 5 p.m. Sunday to 5 p.m. (New York time). Please note: these times are subject to change during daylight saving time and certain public holidays.

To add pairs to your Rate list on the OANDA trading platform, go to Tools > User Preferences > Rates. To view all pairs on your MT4 platform, right-click any of the symbols listed in Market Watch section and choose "Show All".
