Warsaw, 11, January, 2024 – A global leader in online multi-asset trading services, OANDA has announced the extension of an existing partnership with TradingView, the world’s largest charting platform and trading social network, to enable mutual clients in the EU to trade with OANDA directly from TradingView charts.
Under this partnership, an app integration allows over 1,500 instruments to be directly accessible to TradingView's 50 million user base, empowering traders to spot, evaluate, and trade opportunities straight through to their OANDA account without leaving the TradingView platform.
TradingView is available as a web, desktop and mobile application and allows traders to benefit from all the key features available across both platforms.
- Access to 17 ‘supercharts’ with over 110 smart drawing tools and over 400 pre-built popular indicators
- The ability to conveniently monitor and modify trades on the go
- The ability to create personalised watchlists and access instant market alerts
- Access to the largest social network on the web for traders and investors
As OANDA expands the suite of platforms available to clients, they can now choose to trade on global financial markets using TradingView, in addition to the proprietary OANDA TMS app with its powerful tools or MT5.
Commenting on the partnership, OANDA’s Marcin Niewiadomski, Managing Director, Europe, said: “Traders are looking for fast and reliable access to trading opportunities. Through this partnership with TradingView, we give our clients the convenience of trading directly from the world's leading charting platform while enjoying the benefits of OANDA’s best-in-class execution and low trading costs.”
“We are excited to help OANDA expand into key markets around the world,” said Pierce Crosby, General Manager at TradingView. “OANDA has been a long-time partner of TradingView, and their effort to expand technology capabilities far beyond the status quo shows a modernised approach to global markets.”
The launch of the OANDA-TradingView integration in the EU, aims to provide clients with a more comprehensive, seamless trading experience, and follows OANDA's strategic consolidation of its retail trading operations in the EU, which was announced last year.
The ability to chart and trade simultaneously from TradingView is already available to OANDA clients in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, and Australia.
Clients trading with OANDA have access to shares of thousands of the most popular companies, including US-listed equities, which they can trade commission-free on EUR accounts, as well as a broad CFD offering that includes shares of over 1,600 issuers listed on the world's top exchanges, popular index futures with no swap points, and a wide range of commission-free CFDs based on cryptocurrencies.
